Skill Development for Poverty Alleviation

Sustainable Solution to end Extreme Poverty

By supporting skill development through vocational trainings in Northern India, we are not only helping the poor community to come out of its penury but also investigating the extent to which the strategy of enhancing one's skill set might be useful in the fight against extreme poverty.

In most cases, direct monetary interventions are utilized for the purpose of alleviating poverty. These interventions give prompt relief from poverty; however, this relief is unable to maintain itself due to a lack of appropriate support structure that can extend the benefits.

Our active involvement in supporting vocational trainings and analyzing the collected data is bringing a deeper understanding of the role of skill development in India's pursuit of SDG 1 and the country's overall socioeconomic growth.
